Come along and join in the creative excitement at the free drop-in workshops I will be facilitating as part of Ilkley Literature Festival. We will be designing, writing, stamping, folding, sticking and colouring visual poetry inspired by the works of Ian Hamilton Finlay, whose work is being exhibited upstairs at the Manor House throughout the Festival. Whilst he saw himself primarily as a poet, he expressed that poetry not only through print but also sculpture, drawing and most famously his garden in Scotland.
My workshops are from 2-4pm on Saturday 7th and 14th of October and I would love to see you there (downstairs at the Manor House, Ilkley). They are suitable for all ages, children and adults are all more than welcome!
